A timeless wedding ceremony send-off is lavender. For Arsine & Christian's destination wedding in Germany, guests were treated to delicately stamped pouches of lavender leaves which smelled just as wonderful as they looked. Lavender is a soothing flower and represents luck and devotion -- the perfect flower to shower the newlyweds with after they've exchanged their vows!

Many clients value their first walk down the aisle after their vows as much as they cherish the grand entrance at their reception. What better way to play up the thrill of saying "I Do!" than these adorable bells? Guests jingled these bells and cheered when Maryam & Chris kissed as husband & wife at their Hummingbird Nest Ranch Wedding

Equally important is the presentation - we paid extra attention to the signage attached to these bells. A beautiful yet playful element like this rarely goes unnoticed by guests. It is said that bells bring good luck to the newlyweds and announce the beginning of new life together!

Sarah & Ryan's Wedding at Calamigos Ranch was a perfect opportunity to use ceremony programs to introduce guests about the symbolic beauty behind Iranian wedding ceremonies. Their crisp program was the perfect way to explain the importance and tradition of a Sofreh-Aghd, which literally translates to "ceremony spread" in Farsi, initiating a bountiful new life for the freshly minted husband and wife.

Guests participated further in celebration when the ceremony ended, waving custom made wands with bells and white ribbons attached to them. How lovely having a chorus of bells announcing the new Mr. & Mrs.! 

As an event management company, we strongly feel that guests will always remember your special day if they can connect to your culture and traditions, whether they are from the same background or not.

Many mixed faith couples opt for a ceremony program to highlight how their disparate faiths have more similarities than differences! Love knows no borders and neither should your guests with some insightful views on what you value as a newly married couple.

We were so touched by these gorgeous ceremony programs at April & Rob's Santa Barbara Wedding. Sticking to the coral-theme and also serving as a light fan during their summer afternoon ceremony, April & Rob were able to express their sheer love for all involved on their special day, while honoring those who were not with them anymore. These messages are a subtle, heartfelt way to incorporate the memory of loved ones.

April and Rob attended the same high school near Santa Barbara with different backgrounds and different paths in mind. April becoming an attorney and Rob an educator as well as an advocate. With a little help from social media, they were both able to get in touch. Through friendship and time down the line it became clear that it was destiny.

What better place to celebrate an unbreakable bond than at a historic landmark? The Santa Barbara Historical Museum was the perfect venue to plan a rustic, yet chic, Santa Barbara Wedding. April &  Rob's love was celebrated amidst splashing fountains, exotic gardens, and Santa Barbara's signature Spanish-style architecture.

As a Santa Barbara wedding planner, our goal was to compliment the rustic ambiance with modern elements to elevate the event to an inspiring luxe wedding. Laurel Events LA's wedding planners chose a pink and coral wedding color pallet, and incorporated silver & gold mercury vases, champagne sequins, and plenty of chevron for a youthful yet mature feel.

The ceremony took place under a gorgeous wedding huppah; the pavilion was adorned with a hanging chandelier and tied back with rose bouquet. The epitome of a romantic, outdoor rustic wedding that so perfectly matches Southern California.

As the event continued into the evening, Laurel Events LA's wedding planners lit the Santa Barbara Historical Museum courtyard with string lighting and beautiful lanterns. A photo booth allowed guests to save the moment, and a lounge area allowed family and friends to sit back and take in the beauty of the warm Santa Barbara night with lots of candles to set the mood. The evening ended with Rob surprising the stunning bride with a performance by R&B singer Mateo.

While this is a new chapter, we are still the same trusted company offering exceptional event design and coordination services. When Homeart & Events first started in 2011, we were doing both events and home design. Although interior design still remains one of our dearest passions, our undivided focus has always been on designing, producing, and coordinating events, thanks to our incredible core of clients who have honored us with celebrating their most precious milestones. 

Inspired by our original laurel wreath logo, we believe its timeless beauty and simple sophistication represents our identity to the fullest.

Thus Laurel Events Los Angeles was born.

One wouldn’t normally think of Levi’s Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers, as a romantic venue; but Laurel Events LA was able to transform the rugged, masculine space into the perfect place for truly unique wedding unlike any other.

On walking into the lobby of Levi’s Stadium, it was clear that hosting a luxe wedding in sports arena was going to be a challenge. Though architectural the Stadium is quite scenic for the purpose for which it was designed, softening and warming the ambiance was going to take skill and creativity. The key for designing a romantic wedding venue in a stadium: Drapery and Lighting.

Laurel Events LA wedding planners’ first order of business was to conceal the concession stands. Though practical for a stadium, they weren't romantic for a wedding. Drapery was the best solution. Flowing, soft white draperies covered the room, pulling focus towards the beauty of the event itself and away from functional distractions of a sports bar.

Lighting was equally important. Through trusted vendors, Laurel Event LA used floor lights to combat the stadium’s lounge feel. Uplighting helped the draperies to glow, warming the atmosphere of the entire event. Ping lighting on the tower centerpieces once again directed focal attention to the beauty of the wedding and away from distractions.

Color is always an important factor to any beautiful event. The stadium was painted in 49er colors, but the harsh contrast between sterile white and bold red needed to be softened. We decided to follow a merlot and deep burgundy color scheme, a romantic and rich color pallet for a Hispanic styled wedding.

One of the benefits of holding a wedding in such an exotic location was the variety of rooms available for the wedding party. The Groomsmen enjoyed cocktails and the sweeping views from the 501 Club, while the bride and her bridesmaids prepped for the luxe California wedding in the 49ers Gold Rush Cheerleader’s dressing room. Hair and Makeup were expertly applied at individual vanities in the large, well-lit Cheerleader's dressing room. Laurel Events LA made sure food and champagne was served to the bridal party as they exchanged gifts and prepared for the ceremony to come.

The turf of Levi’s Stadium had been mowed into the shape of large heart filling the playing field. The unique wedding ceremony took place beneath a Jewish Chuppah, center of the of the Levi’s Stadium. Combining the heritage of the bride and groom, there were ceremonial elements of both a Jewish Wedding and a Hispanic Wedding.

The reception carried well into the night. Laurel Events LA had successfully created a warm and inviting atmosphere where family and friends could celebrate in a spirit of joy. Near midnight the Mariachi band entered to surprise the bride, and energy renewed as dancing flared up for the Hispanic wedding tradition. Guests danced and sang nonstop only to take a break for gourmet tacos, the perfect midnight snack for a Mexican Wedding.
